We have been eating our last shipment for a whole week now, and they are just as fresh, plump and tasty on Day 7 as they were on Day 1. I particularly love the deep welled shell to cradle in my favorite toppings before sliding in under the broiler (think Oysters Bingo here):-). In a word:Yum.
Wandering Waders are fantastic oysters for cooking! I used them in a seafood Jambalaya pasta and it was great!
Wonderful oysters. Came on time and cold. Shocked jarred oystets er er the best I've had yet. Will order again.
A person of few words will just say , “Great!” What can beat that? Nothing, right?
Fantastic quality and service!
My wife isn’t a fan of raw oysters on the half shell. Used the shucked oysters for fried and they were plump and terrific! Shucked the 3 dozen, keeping ice until I could finish dressing and grilling. Topped with bacon, shallots, used a basil/lemon/garlic aioli and then topped with 6 blend cheese. Grilled till done - she still wasn’t sure - taking 3 to try and went back for about a dozen and a half. She loved them, said that’s a keeper and would be ‘allowed’ to do that again!!
These little palate pleasers were so fresh and sweet, no matter how I prepared them. My new fav recipe is Oysters Bingo!
Quite yummy. Makes a great Louisville rolled oysters.
